Focus on evaluation indicators and implementation methods for the Research and Discussion Exhibition Project
Background and preparation for this salon:
To strengthen oversight and support for exhibition projects both during and after the event, the association plans to launch "Exhibition Project Evaluation".
The association has convened representatives from the professional committee of exhibition organizers (hosts) to discuss the details and related work of the "Shanghai Exhibition Project Evaluation Meeting" on March 10th.
Based on the experience of the "Shanghai International Exhibition Project Evaluation" over the past few years and the opinions of the committee representatives, the association has organized the key directions for "Exhibition Project Evaluation" and drafted an initial draft of the implementation plan.
Invited guests for this session:
Government representatives: Representatives from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Exhibition Department, and relevant personnel from the Pudong New Area Exhibition and Convention Bureau and the Qingpu District Economic Commission.
Corporate representatives: Representatives of exhibition organizers (hosts) and venue providers.
Experts: Professors specializing in exhibition and convention, as well as industry experts in evaluation and consulting.
Content and process:
1. Introduction to the association, the background of the salon, key metrics to be evaluated, and preliminary implementation plan.
2. Representatives from the exhibition organizer and venue discuss and propose opinions and suggestions regarding the evaluation metrics and implementation plan.
3. Representatives from educational institutions and industry experts provide opinions and suggestions.
4. Government representatives provide an evaluation and express expectations regarding the association's upcoming evaluation activities.
5. Summarize the outcomes of the salon.
Desired outcomes:
To inform relevant companies about the association's upcoming 'Exhibition Project Evaluation' initiative.
To discuss and research specific metrics for measuring the quality of exhibitions, assisting organizers in clarifying the direction for improving project quality.
Provide reference basis for government departments to formulate exhibition project promotion policies.
After discussion and consultation with experts and enterprise representatives, guide the focus direction and refine the specific implementation methods of "Exhibition Project Evaluation".
