On May 11th, a meeting of the Yangtze River Delta Exhibition and Convention Alliance Secretariat was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association. Attendees included: Chen Xian, Secretary and Party Secretary of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association; Tu Jianqing, Secretary General; Yu Li, Deputy Secretary General; Chen Hong, Deputy Secretary General; Zhang Qing, Secretary General of the Jiangsu Provincial Exhibition and Convention Industry Association; Qian Xinli, Secretary General and Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial International Exhibition and Convention Industry Association; Zhang Wumin, Secretary General of the Anhui Provincial Exhibition and Convention Industry Association; Luo Qing, Secretary General of the Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition and Convention Industry Association, and Hu Xuan, Deputy Director of the Office; Wang Chunlei, Co-Executive Director of the Yangtze River Delta Exhibition and Convention Research Institute, and other attendees.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Zhu Jianqing. During the meeting, the alliance secretariat provided updates on the activities undertaken since the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Convention and Exhibition Alliance, as well as the preparation of the "2021 Yangtze River Delta Convention and Exhibition Industry Development Report." Representatives from each secretariat presented the industry development situation in their respective provinces for 2020 and shared their associations' work and experiences in areas such as party building, talent development, project evaluation, standard setting, and key project implementation. The working meeting focused on and discussed several key aspects of the alliance's self-development, including the establishment of an information mechanism, membership expansion, the development of a logo, and talent development, as well as the planning and execution of the annual conference.

Finally, the Alliance Chairman, Chen Jianxin, summarized the meeting and outlined the Alliance's key priorities for the current year, focusing on "high quality" and "integration" as core themes, seeking breakthrough opportunities.
