On the afternoon of March 16th, the Party Committee of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association held its 2020 Annual Democratic Life Conference. The conference was presided over by Party Committee Secretary Chen Xian, with all Party Committee members and representatives from grassroots party organizations attending. Secretary Zhu Xiang of the Municipal Government Industry Association Party Committee also attended to provide guidance.
During the meeting, all members of the Party Committee closely adhered to the principle of studying and implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focusing on the theme of "remaining true to one's original aspirations and abiding by one's mission." They exchanged ideas, identified problems, and conducted in-depth analysis, developing corrective measures based on their theoretical learning, work practices, and anti-corruption efforts. Furthermore, the delegates actively engaged in self-criticism and constructive criticism.
The Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal-Level Industry Association, Zhu Xiang, expressed full support for the quality of the democratic life meetings. He also emphasized the importance of comprehensive and strict Party discipline and the need for complete Party organization coverage within the association. He urged the association's Party Committee to continue strengthening theoretical learning and to strive to play a leading role, demonstrating exemplary conduct in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Party.
