July theme: Green Exhibition Seminar Salon

Venue: Yida Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Building 16, No. 100 Hulan West Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai, near Hulan Road Station on Metro Line 1.
Background: Starting July 1 this year, Shanghai officially began implementing waste sorting. This has placed stricter requirements on the exhibition industry. How to strengthen management, reduce post-exhibition waste and improve the reuse rate of display materials has become an urgent issue. Green exhibitions are not only a new requirement for venues, but also concern the three major industry participants and the whole industry chain, requiring relevant enterprises to cooperate and seek solutions together.
Purpose: Through sharing and interaction at this salon, the association hopes to broaden thinking, build a platform for sharing the latest information on green exhibitions and discussing greening measures for exhibitions, and gradually establish and improve a green exhibition service system through this platform.
Preliminary agenda:
1. Association leaders introduce the theme, background and purpose of this salon.
2. Venues and organizers present requirements: focusing on the new waste disposal regulations, they discuss what kind of condition and effect they hope to see at exhibition sites. Proposed invited enterprises include the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai New International Expo Center, Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
3. Service enterprises share ideas: focusing on the requirements raised by venues and organizers for green exhibitions, they introduce solutions in their respective fields. Proposed sharing enterprises include Yida Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Lingtong Exhibition System Co., Ltd., Shanghai Qixing Art Decoration Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Omaten Software Co., Ltd.
4. Participating enterprises hold interactive discussions on what types of products and services should be included to create a closed-loop green exhibition service system.
5. Association leaders summarize the meeting and, based on this salon, establish a green exhibition contact group. More related green exhibition enterprises will be added later to jointly build and improve the green exhibition service system.
6. Leaders from relevant government departments deliver remarks.
Venues, organizers and service suppliers in design, production, information technology, logistics, cleaning and other fields that have requirements, ideas, measures or products related to green exhibitions are welcome to take part in this salon and join the discussion.
