On January 10th, the 15th China Exhibition and Convention Economic International Cooperation Forum was inaugurated in Qionghai City, Hainan Province. The opening ceremony was attended by Hainan Provincial People's Congress Chairman Mao Wanchun, Vice Chairman Lu Peng of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Foreign Trade, Fan Shi, and Chairman Tom Sindlerich of the International Exhibitions and Projects Association, among others, who delivered speeches.
Lu Peng stated that it is crucial to actively promote the high-quality development of the exhibition and convention industry, while adhering to innovative concepts and promoting sustainable development, we must seize the opportunities presented by the times, innovate exhibition themes, and uphold the spirit of craftsmanship to comprehensively enhance the service level of the exhibition and convention industry. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is committed to continuously deepening cooperation with the international exhibition industry, and jointly create more high-quality and high-level exhibition activities.
This forum, themed "Dialogue for the Future, Initiating New Journeys," explores the development trends of the exhibition and convention industry, which is currently undergoing a critical period of innovation and upgrading. Over 600 representatives from exhibition and convention industry organizations, professional companies, and research institutions from nearly 20 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Germany, and Turkey, attended the event.
