On December 26, 2018, the Shanghai Municipal Exhibition and Convention Industry Association Committee held a meeting at the Association's secretariat. Attendees included all members of the Association's Party Committee and the secretaries of all affiliated branches.
During the Party Committee plenary meeting, all attendees reviewed the "Regulations on the Work of Party Branches (Pilot)" implemented from October 28, 2018, and engaged in thorough discussions regarding the significance, establishment, basic tasks, and operational mechanisms of Party branches. The meeting also summarized and exchanged information on the Party building work content and priorities of the Association in 2018, and proposed plans for the main activities to be undertaken in 2019. Subsequently, all Party Committee members discussed and voted on matters such as the approval of new Party members, the promotion of pre-communist members, the approval of newly established Party branches, and personnel changes for second-level branch secretaries.
