On May 17th, at 3:00 PM, a delegation led by Mr. Xia Kejia, Deputy Secretary of the Qingpu District Committee and District Mayor, and Mr. Ni Xiangjun, Deputy District Mayor of Qingpu District, visited our association for research and guidance.
Mr. Chen Xian, Chairman of the Association, and the secretariat staff welcomed the delegation of district leaders. Mr. Chen Xian introduced the basic situation of the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industry Association, the overview of the convention and exhibition industry in the city, and the development prospects of the industry, and proposed suggestions for the association's role in the development of the convention and exhibition industry in Qingpu. He also expressed his gratitude to the Qingpu District authorities for their strong support during the association's relocation.
District Mayor Xia Kejia pointed out that the convention and exhibition industry plays a significant role in promoting social and economic development. He hoped that everyone could work together, take advantage of the opportunity of the First China International Import Expo, and create a convention and exhibition industry brand. He also hoped that relevant units in Qingpu District would further assist the development of the convention and exhibition industry association, and develop the convention and exhibition industry to meet the needs of various types of enterprises, and promote the better and faster development of the Qingpu District economy.
