The fifth session of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association, held on October 26, 2018, was convened at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in the afternoon.
The session was presided over by Chairman Chen Xian, who reported on the preparations for the election of new board members. The session reviewed and approved the work report and financial report of the fourth board, as well as the draft articles of association and amendments, and the proposal to increase membership fees.
The fifth board elected 118 members and 3 supervisors. The board elected 42 vice presidents, with Mr. Sang Jingmin, General Manager of Shanghai Baowen Company, elected as Chairman, and Ms. Zheng Yan, Deputy General Manager of Zhongyi Tong Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., elected as Supervisor. The fifth board appointed Mr. Tu Jianqing as Secretary-General of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association, and Ms. Li Yu and Ms. Chen Hong as Deputy Secretaries-General.
