Recently, Mr. Chen Jian, Chairman of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association, held a meeting at Shanghai International Exhibition Corporation with Mr. Sun Sewen, Deputy Mayor of Haikou City, Ms. Du Xinen, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and Ms. Cai Qiao, Director of the Exhibition Bureau, among others. The meeting focused on the development and cooperation prospects of the exhibition industry in Shanghai and Haikou. Attendees included Mr. Qi Lu, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association, Ms. Yu Li, Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Jin Ying, Deputy Director of the Exhibition Industry Department of the Municipal Commerce Commission, Mr. Chen Ping, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Department of the Municipal Tourism Bureau, Mr. Gu Chunting, Vice Chairman and Chairman and CEO of Shanghai International Exhibition Corporation, Ms. Wang Lei, Mr. Bian Guorong, and Mr. Li Zhengwei. Mr. Chen Jian presided over the meeting and introduced the main work and activities of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association. Ms. Jin Ying presented the development situation of the exhibition industry in Shanghai and the measures that the government will take in the management of the exhibition industry. Mr. Gu Chunting introduced the business development situation of Shanghai International Exhibition Corporation. Mr. Sun Sewen, Deputy Mayor of Haikou City, stated that the exhibition industry is one of the 12 key industries being developed in Haikou City, and the government places great importance on it. This visit is not only to learn from Shanghai's advanced experience but also to deepen the exchange and cooperation between Shanghai and Haikou in the exhibition industry. During the meeting, Mr. Qi Lu, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association, and Ms. Cai Qiao, Director of the Haikou Exhibition Bureau, jointly signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between the two cities. The leaders of both sides witnessed the signing.
