UBM recently announced that it had agreed to acquire Allworld Exhibitions for a cash consideration of RMB 3.3 billion, on a debt-free and cash-free basis.

Allworld Exhibitions is a leading private exhibition group in Asia. Its business covers nine industries, spans 11 countries and operates 51 exhibitions. For the 12 months ended June 30, 2016, the company recorded revenue of RMB 670 million, including RMB 350 million from annual exhibitions. EBIT was RMB 260 million, with a margin of 38.7 percent. Revenue compound annual growth over the past 10 years reached 7.3 percent.

Allworld organizes exhibitions across nine different industries and operates 51 exhibitions, including annual and biennial events, in mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, South Korea, Bahrain and Kuwait. It organizes leading exhibitions in food and hospitality, packaging, manufacturing, TMT, and oil and gas. The company has international sales teams in London and Singapore and more than 250 employees worldwide.
