Lucky Visa flower-collection activity

Unlike previous medical academic exhibitions, CIMC prepared many interactive activities between doctors and exhibitors. The Lucky Visa flower-collection activity was very popular among doctor visitors.

Product introduction meetings

Exhibitors added product introduction meetings for doctor visitors. These sessions helped doctors learn about the latest products and technologies for maternal and child health while also strengthening links between professional maternal and child doctors and industry practitioners.

Germany's NUK held thematic exchanges with visiting medical workers on maternal and infant health and oral care and solutions for feeding special children. Pigeon presented a special lecture on breastfeeding low-birth-weight infants, premature infants and children with cleft lip and palate. Philips launched an on-site demonstration of Sonicare sonic toothbrushes and Avent natural rhythm electric breast pumps. Nanjing Vishee introduced pelvic floor magnetic stimulation technology as a new tool for postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation and a plan for building and operating postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation services. Guangdong Hybribio presented an integrated solution for thalassemia prevention and control and new molecular testing technology for pre-pregnancy eugenic screening. Five Stones held a special seminar on birth-defect prevention for medical workers. A total of 120 exhibitors, including General Electric, Lelch, Happy Pregnancy, Medlander, Kingbell Medical, Beijing Taihe, Hunan Shiao and Sanyuan, jointly created this maternal and child health industry exhibition and worked to support healthy development of China's maternal and child health industry.

InnovAction new product zone

Different from previous editions, this year's CIMC created the InnovAction Maternal and Child Product Innovation Center for the first time. InnovAction is a combined word: Innov takes the meaning of innovation and creativity, while Action emphasizes action and behavior. CIMC insists on innovative and creative action. This activity is committed to providing a concentrated display opportunity for advanced maternal and child technologies from China and abroad, and to offering colleagues in China's maternal and child health sector a distinctive platform for close contact with new trends in maternal and child medical technology. The zone covered 110 square meters and displayed 30 new products. Its innovative concept and strong promotion of internet plus maternal and child healthcare received unanimous praise from visitors.

Ophthalmology zone

It is worth noting that under the influence of the internet plus and big data era, the health services industry, especially the maternal and child health industry, has entered a new round of change. Mobile healthcare has become the most popular exhibitor category after traditional medical devices and maternal and baby enterprises. A total of 20 mobile healthcare companies participated in this exhibition, covering applications such as digital telemedicine, mobile payment, pregnancy nutrition management, pregnancy weight control, pregnancy exercise, newborn care knowledge and online consultation. These companies presented their development achievements to more than 3,000 professional visitors from across China.

To help more children with eye diseases and give every Chinese child bright eyes, this edition specially set up a children's eye health zone. More than 10 ophthalmology enterprises participated on site, displaying the latest research achievements and screening technologies in children's vision.

Healthy women and children are the foundation and prerequisite of a healthy China. The maternal and child health cause must be understood and pursued from such a strategic height.
