In early November, Montgomery Exhibition Group subsidiary, Fresh Montgomery, a leading British catering exhibition company, announced the full acquisition of all shares in the British Independent Hotel Exhibition, becoming the exclusive operator of the event. The event was originally launched and developed jointly by Fresh Montgomery and the British Single Market Activity Association, and gradually established its brand. In 2016, the event saw record numbers of exhibitors and buyers.
