1.2 This Code of Conduct applies to all personnel involved in the exhibition and convention industry in Shanghai, including but not limited to exhibition organizers, exhibitors, attendees, and service providers.
II. Fundamental Principles
2.1 Integrity and Honesty: Members must adhere to the principles of integrity and honesty, ensuring that all information provided is accurate and truthful, and that no misleading or deceptive practices are employed.
2.2 Fair Competition: Members should adhere to the principles of fair competition, refraining from disparaging others or engaging in malicious competition, thereby maintaining industry order and reputation.
2.3 Professional Services: Industry professionals must possess professional competence, continuously improve service quality, meet client needs, and enhance client satisfaction.
2.4 Environmental Responsibility and Energy Efficiency: Staff should prioritize environmental responsibility and energy efficiency, promoting sustainable event practices and minimizing the event's impact on the environment.
III. Professional Ethics Standards
3.1 Exhibition Organizers
3.1.1 The organizers should carefully consider the interests of exhibitors, attendees, and service providers to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the exhibition.
3.1.2 Detailed exhibition plans and implementation strategies must be developed to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
3.1.3 Ensure the safety of the exhibition, develop emergency plans, and mitigate potential risks.
3.1.4 Exhibitors should respect intellectual property rights and protect the legitimate interests of exhibitors.
3.2 Exhibitor
3.2.1 Participants must adhere to all exhibition regulations and conduct setup and participation according to the specific requirements of the exhibition.
3.2.2 Ensure that all exhibited products are legitimate and of high quality, and that no counterfeit or substandard products are displayed.
3.2.3 Participants must respect the intellectual property rights of others and shall not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others.
3.2.4 Booths must be kept clean and well-maintained, ensuring a professional and attractive appearance that reflects positively on the exhibiting company.
3.3 Attendees
3.3.1 Attendees are required to adhere to all exhibition regulations and conduct visits and negotiations in accordance with the exhibition's specific requirements.
3.3.2 Attendees are expected to maintain appropriate conduct and refrain from creating excessive noise or engaging in disruptive behavior during the exhibition.
3.3.3 Participants must respect the intellectual property rights of others and shall not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others.
3.3.4 Adhere to all public health regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary environment within the exhibition hall.
3.4 Service Provider
3.4.1 Adhere to all exhibition regulations and provide services in accordance with the exhibition requirements.
3.4.2 Ensure the quality and efficiency of the services provided, meeting the needs of the clients.
3.4.3 Participants must respect the intellectual property rights of others and shall not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others.
3.4.4 Adhere to all public health regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary environment within the exhibition hall.
IV. Supplemental Provisions
4.1 These regulations shall come into effect upon their publication.
4.2 These rules are to be interpreted by the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association.
