To ensure standardizationMembership units of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association shall conduct their activities related to services and operations, fostering a commitment to integrity and compliance, fair competition, and the establishment of robust self-regulatory mechanisms to safeguard the overall interests of the industry and promote its sustainable and healthy development. This Code of Conduct is established in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the Articles of Association of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association, taking into account the specific circumstances of the industry.
Article 1This Code of Conduct is established by all members of the Shanghai Exhibition Industry Association and serves as the common set of guidelines that all members agree to follow in their business and operational activities.
Article 2The Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association encourages all enterprises and organizations engaged in related services and operations within the exhibition and convention industry to adhere to this code of conduct, thereby promoting industry self-regulation and creating a positive environment for industry development.
Article 3Adheres to the Constitution, laws, regulations, and national policies, embodies the core socialist values, and respects social ethical norms. Actively maintains the unity, security, and solidarity of the nation and its people. Actively protects the national interests, public interests, and the legitimate rights and interests of other organizations and citizens, and adheres to social ethics and public order.
Article 4Adhere to the principles of open, fair, and transparent markets, actively maintain normal market order, participate in market competition in accordance with the law, oppose all forms of unfair competition, and strive to create a healthy and orderly market environment.
Article 5Actively participate in collaborations and exchanges with industry partners and stakeholders, fostering mutual respect and support to collectively enhance the quality of services and maintain the industry's reputation.
Article 6"Actively comply with the guidance and supervision of relevant government authorities, continuously improving services and work practices. Actively comply with the supervision of all stakeholders, working together to resist and correct unethical practices within the industry."
Article 7Members are expected to adhere to the association's self-regulatory management practices. In the event of disputes arising between members during business activities, all parties should, with the aim of protecting the interests of the industry, resolve the disputes in a cooperative and mutually agreeable manner, and actively maintain the unity of the industry.
Article 8The association operates under a democratic and centralized system, establishing procedures for democratic decision-making, democratic elections, and democratic management. The formation of leadership and decisions on major matters require collective discussion, with decisions made according to the principle of "minority yielding to majority."
Article 9This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable national laws and regulations, in the event of any conflict.
Article 10This agreement shall take effect immediately.
