【Association Activities】A cooperation and signing ceremony between representatives from Hebei, Shanghai, and Heilongjiang in the exhibition industry was successfully held in Harbin.

On August 12, after multiple rounds of communication, representatives of the Shanghai and Sichuan exhibition industry associations visited Harbin at the invitation of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government, the Heilongjiang Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Heilongjiang International Chamber of Commerce. The Heilongjiang-Shanghai-Sichuan Exhibition Industry Cooperation Symposium and Signing Ceremony was successfully held in Harbin.

At the three-region exhibition industry cooperation strategy symposium and signing ceremony, E Zhongqi, President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Heilongjiang International Chamber of Commerce, introduced the development of Heilongjiang's exhibition industry and delivered remarks. Chen Xianjin, President of the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, spoke on topics including the transformation of government-organized exhibitions, exhibition internationalization, financial subsidies, building distinctive exhibitions and modes of cooperation among the three regions. Li Yong, President of the Sichuan Conference and Exhibition Industry Association, spoke on the current situation of Sichuan's exhibition industry, how to revitalize heavy-asset exhibition venues, the construction and operation of Western China International Expo City and specific cooperation projects among the three regions.

Li Deshan, Vice President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Ji Lude, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association; Zhang Yong, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Conference and Exhibition Industry Association; relevant representatives from the Heilongjiang Exhibition Affairs Bureau and the secretariat of the Heilongjiang International Chamber of Commerce; and representatives from Heilongjiang's leading exhibition organizers, venues and service sectors attended the meeting. Participants held in-depth discussions on sharing exhibition information among the three regions, exchanging work experience, conducting research projects, and promoting and organizing talent training in the three-region exhibition industry. They also jointly signed the Cooperation Agreement.
