【Party Committee Information】Shanghai Exhibition & Convention Industry Association Party Committee holds meeting to study and implement the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Party Congress.

On December 8th, at 3:00 PM, the Party Committee of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association held a special meeting to study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Members of the Party Committee and the Discipline Committee, as well as the branch secretary, attended the meeting.

During the session, Comrade Chen Jianxin, Secretary of the Party Committee, presented an explanation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Resolution on the Major Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party's Centennial Development. Subsequently, comrades Sang Jingmin, Yu Li, Tu Jianqing, Yang Kekeko, Wang Jiayun, and Wang Qi engaged in an exchange, sharing their insights and reflections on the resolution. Participants agreed that the resolution's profound content provides a comprehensive understanding of history, present, and future, emphasizing practical application and respect for historical experience while upholding the wisdom and strength derived from it. This serves as a guiding principle for the Chinese Communist Party in the new era to remain committed to its mission and continue developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, ultimately achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The resolution not only summarizes the Party's first century of growth, but also sets forth the goals for the next century. This represents a significant event in the Party's history. We must treat the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Party Congress as a major political task, continuously strengthening our ideological foundation, and closely uniting around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we must continuously strengthen ourselves, utilize the latest theories of the Party to guide our practice, and promote our work.

    In his presentation, Secretary Chen Jianxin reiterated the importance of three key resolutions passed during the Party's centennial, which underscore the profound strategic considerations of remembering history and learning from it for the future. These resolutions include: * The resolution passed by the Seventh National Congress in April 1945, which paved the way for establishing the guiding role of Mao Zedong Thought at the Seventh Congress. * The resolution passed by the Sixth National Congress in June 1981, which marked the successful completion of the Party's correction of its ideological course since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and holds significant historical importance for the development of reform and opening up and socialist modernization. * The resolution passed by the Sixth National Congress of the Eighteenth Party Congress, which further clarified the profound significance of establishing the core leadership role of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party as a whole, and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

Chen Jianxin requested that all branch members: 1. Further enhance their political standing and conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is a crucial political task for the current and future period. All branches should align their thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee and the Municipal Party Committee, truly understanding and deeply comprehending the spirit of the plenary session, and continuously improving their understanding. 2. Generate a momentum of studying and implementing the spirit of the plenary session, making it the top priority, accurately grasping the mission and tasks, and truly aligning their thoughts and actions. They should conscientiously implement and follow the spirit of the resolution and the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and higher-level Party committees. Combining practical work and insights, they should exchange learning experiences within their respective branches, playing a leading role. 3. Use the spirit of the plenary session to guide the work of party building, integrating the Party's work into the entire process of industry and enterprise operation and development, guiding and motivating Party members to contribute ideas and suggestions to the central work of their units while performing their duties, fully demonstrating the political core and combat fortress role of the Party organization, and enabling enterprises to play a greater role in promoting development.
