The current COVID-19 outbreak has touched the hearts of people across China and everyone involved in the International Sourcing Fair.
As the organizer of the fair, Donghao Lansheng Group donated large quantities of supplies to the front line at the first opportunity, firmly supporting the fight against epidemic prevention and control.
On February 4, under the unified command of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Donghao Lansheng Group began successively providing about 500,000 masks to nearly 30 enterprises in Shanghai. The goods were dispatched from the warehouse of Shanghai Medicines and Health Products Import and Export Co., Ltd., and some had already been delivered to enterprises.
In the morning, Wang Qiang, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Donghao Lansheng Group, visited Lingang Group and delivered a batch of masks in person to support the development of the new area and actively respond to the upcoming wave of work resumption. Liu Jiaping, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Lingang Group, and Yuan Guohua, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and President, thanked Donghao Lansheng for its strong support.
With the epidemic ongoing and work resumption approaching, epidemic prevention supplies were in short supply. Under unified command, Donghao Lansheng Group actively mobilized its trading companies, with International Trade Group taking on organization and coordination responsibilities. In recent days it has continuously operated in global purchasing and global logistics mode, overcoming many difficulties to procure masks and other epidemic prevention supplies and deliver them to places in urgent need under unified coordination by higher-level organizations.
This batch of masks was repurchased from long-standing overseas customers after repeated communication by Donghao Lansheng Group. The supplies arrived at Pudong International Airport at noon on February 2. Under the group's unified leadership, International Trade Group actively organized and coordinated the work, while the medicines and health products company, logistics company and other specialized companies cooperated closely. With strong support from Pudong Airport cargo terminal and customs, it took only 24 hours from flight arrival to delivery of the epidemic prevention supplies to the warehouse.
Donghao Lansheng will continue to arrange more types of supplies to provide material support for epidemic prevention and control at more Shanghai-based enterprises.
