From June 21 to 22, the fifth International Exhibition Industry CEO Shanghai Summit was held at the InterContinental Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. The theme of this summit was the Belt and Road Initiative and the international exhibition industry. Discussions focused on three topics: the Belt and Road Initiative as a new factor in exhibition globalization, bringing in and going global for exhibition industries with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and the globalization of exhibition enterprises.
Zhou Hanmin, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association, vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal CPPCC and chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association; Xian Guoyi, director general of the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services of the Ministry of Commerce; and Zhong Xiaomin, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, delivered remarks and keynote speeches at the opening ceremony.
