On December 12, 2015, the association salon welcomed UFI lecturer John Blaskey from the United Kingdom, who delivered an industry lecture entirely in English.
Starting from exhibitors' expectations and needs, John explained how modern exhibitions should attract and retain exhibitors during transformation, how organizers and exhibition service providers can attract more people to exhibitions, and how exhibition management methods should change.
John's distinctive presentation style drew frequent applause. Participants were highly engaged, spoke actively, exchanged fully with John, and held lively discussions in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
To broaden the international perspective of exhibition professionals, the association will again invite Mr. John Blaskey to Shanghai on September 15 to give a lecture, with Chinese interpretation provided.
This lecture will serve as an additional course for the Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, training program. Mr. John Blaskey describes himself as an exhibiting dissenter. He has worked in the exhibition industry for more than 40 years, with long experience in the Middle East and European markets, and has provided clients with extensive high-quality exhibiting services. In recent years, he has focused on developing more exhibitor services and consulting tools for organizers. His Organizer Masterclass has provided valuable exhibitor training for organizers including UBM, DMG and several international industry organizations. As a professional member of a globally renowned association of trainers and consultants, he has served as a UFI lecturer and received the title of Best Lecturer. In December 2015, the association invited Mr. Blaskey to deliver a lecture at the eighth member salon of that year on how modern exhibitions can attract and retain exhibitors during transformation. The lecture received broad attention from the industry.
