On the afternoon of December 23, a themed salon on green and environmentally friendly paper exhibition equipment was held at the East Branch of Shanghai Library. The event was hosted by the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, co-organized by Shanghai CCPIT Exhibition Display Co., Ltd. and undertaken by Shanghai Ruishi Chuangzhan Printing Co., Ltd., with support from the steering committee of the Shanghai Book Fair and Fragrant China Shanghai Week. Xu Jiong, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and director of the Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau, and Chen Xianjin, Party Committee secretary of SCEIA, attended and delivered remarks. Sang Jingmin, deputy Party Committee secretary and president of SCEIA, chaired the salon. More than 90 organizers, contractors, exhibition engineering enterprises and paper exhibition equipment research and development companies from the association took part, sharing application cases of integrating paper exhibition equipment with the exhibition industry and jointly discussing the prospects for green exhibitions.

This salon was a concrete measure by the association to implement the State Council's Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Establishment and Improvement of a Green, Low-Carbon and Circular Economic Development System, to promote green development in the exhibition industry, formulate relevant green industry standards and encourage the circular use of exhibition facilities. The cases of integrating paper exhibition equipment with the exhibition industry provide new ideas for the development of green exhibitions. In the future, such applications are expected to have broader space and prospects and to become a new trend in green development.
