On August 27th, an afternoon meeting was held in Xi'an between the Xi'an Municipal Government and Shanghai exhibition and convention enterprises. The meeting utilized a hybrid offline and online format, organized jointly by the Xi'an Investment and Cooperation Bureau, the Xi'an Commerce Bureau, and the Xi'an Municipal Government's Liaison Office in Shanghai, with venues in both Shanghai and Xi'an. Approximately 60 participants, including representatives from relevant organizations and companies in the Shanghai and Xi'an exhibition and convention industries, attended the meeting.
Mr. Li Lei, Director of the Exhibition Affairs Department of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, delivered a speech at the event. Representatives from key member organizations, including Shanghai Donghao Lan Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fengyu Zhuch Culture Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fuyue Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., Jizhongtu (Shanghai) Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., Yitad Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Pinbang Advertising Co., Ltd., Shanghai Chuangwei Architectural Engineering Co., Ltd., Zhongli Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Lantai Exhibition Engineering Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Qian Tang Communication Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Gants Metal Products Co., Ltd., were invited to attend and participate in the event's presentations and discussions.
During the meeting, representatives from key exhibition and convention organizations in Xi'an presented the advantages of each exhibition area and shared relevant policies for organizing events in Xi'an. We encourage Shanghai-based exhibition and convention companies to expand their business operations to Xi'an.
Chen Jianxin, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Industry Association, delivered a speech, outlining the key characteristics of the development of the Shanghai exhibition and convention industry, and sharing the measures adopted by the industry in response to the ongoing pandemic. He also commended Xi'an for its pioneering efforts in legislative development within the exhibition and convention industry at the national level, and offered insightful suggestions and recommendations for the development of the Xi'an exhibition and convention industry, based on practical considerations.
