Give every bit of warmth and every bit of light. If there is no torch, then I will be the light.

On the eleventh day after Wuhan was locked down, the tense epidemic situation touched every heart.

To ensure that frontline medical workers could receive supplies as quickly as possible, this fundraising campaign lasted only 48 hours. A total of 349 caring people offered help, raising RMB 79,360. All funds raised have been donated directly to Union Hospital in Wuhan.

Countless people in the exhibition industry cannot stand on the front line of epidemic prevention, but they have always paid close attention to the front line. Seeing many medical workers go into battle without adequate masks and protective clothing has been deeply painful.

In response to the national call for epidemic prevention, exhibition activities have now been fully suspended. This is undoubtedly an enormous challenge for companies in exhibitions and events. But compared with the people of Wuhan and Hubei, who are deep in the epidemic area, Omaten is more willing to focus its attention on them. Rather than repeat empty slogans, Omaten is more willing to take concrete action.

After completing its first donation, Omaten Exhibition quickly launched an internal donation initiative in response to the shortage of medical resources on the front line and extended help again. Although the winter night is cold, love brings warmth.

We need heroes, but we do not want heroes who must sacrifice themselves. All medical workers must return safely. Not one should be missing.

There is no such thing as effortless peace. It is only that someone else is carrying the burden for us.

With confirmed cases of the novel pneumonia reaching 14,418 and deaths reaching 304, news and updates from Wuhan became the biggest concern of this holiday. In this battle without smoke, medical workers moved against the tide and stood in front to protect us.

Seventeen years ago at Xiaotangshan, 1,383 medical workers from 114 hospitals across the country accepted urgent orders and entered the hospital. Seventeen years later in Wuhan, medical workers from all departments of Union Hospital signed pledges and built a wall with their own bodies.

No reward, regardless of life or death, is their oath. The more often we hear it, the more painful it becomes. We hope that after medical workers give up holidays and work under high-intensity overload, we can at least protect their safety, rather than leave them without even protective clothing and forced to piece together makeshift protection from simple bags and document folders.

When heroes make the best of hardship, that should remind us of our own responsibility as those being protected.

At a time when families should have reunited, they left relatives and friends, risked everything and fought disease. Whenever the nation faces hardship, doctors are always the ones who step forward without hesitation.

Omaten issued generous year-end bonuses and salaries to all employees so they could enjoy the holiday. Yet under the impact of the epidemic, the exhibition industry has been completely suspended, projects have stalled and business has paused. Facing the severest industry winter, Omaten has not retreated. It cares for the disaster area and will not allow medical heroes to confront disease with only ordinary bodies. When there are no masks or protective suits, it will mobilize supply channels; when materials are lacking, it will make urgent donations to support the front line. In Omaten's view, heroes deserve the best protection and reward.

Rather than speak empty words, Omaten prefers to help heroes receive the care they deserve. You protect the world, and we will protect you. Light gives us brightness; we should not forget those who hold the lamp and stand with endurance in the dark. Although Omaten's strength is limited, it is willing to hold a lamp for the heroes in the dark and not let them disappear there. Wuhan, do not be afraid. Union Hospital, do not be afraid. We are here.

A single spark can start a prairie fire

Not letting Wuhan fight alone is the responsibility and mission of every Omaten employee.

After the outbreak, Omaten responded immediately. Chairman Wang Xiang made several donations in his personal capacity. He said the company also hoped to do something practical for epidemic prevention and control, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and encourage more companies to participate. A single spark can start a prairie fire. When thousands of exhibition professionals stand together, that is the greatest confidence for defeating the epidemic together with Wuhan.

The epidemic winter is also a winter for the exhibition industry. Under difficult conditions, Omaten is not willing to focus only on itself. It hopes to help the wider world, create material wealth while never forgetting to give back to society, and fulfill the social responsibilities of a corporate citizen.

Beyond creating business profits, jobs and tax revenue, integrity and kindness are also part of Omaten's self-cultivation as an enterprise. Strengthening the awareness of social responsibility and dedication, internalizing social responsibility in the heart and externalizing it in action, has long been one of Omaten's values.

Chairman Wang Xiang also said that Omaten, as a technology platform company for smart exhibitions, has a wider impact on the economy and society. To participate in international cooperation and competition at a higher and broader level, it must build a unique moat. That moat is not only a material fortress of quality and price, but also an invisible wall formed by a culture of responsibility embedded deep within the company.

He said every action is taken toward the goal of making exhibitions smarter and society better. With greater ability comes greater responsibility. Over the years, the company has continued charitable work, including setting up student aid funds in schools and supporting students across the country in education and employment. This is also Omaten's spark. Those who have received support will carry kindness in their hearts, and a single spark is enough for goodness to spread.

Heroes need not remain nameless. Every act of love deserves to be seen.

Society needs responsible people, and we are willing to contribute what we can. May we help one another and cross this winter together.
