In the first half of 2017, major exhibition venues in Shanghai hosted a total of 250 exhibitions, a decrease of 9.42% compared to the 276 exhibitions held in the same period of the previous year. The total exhibition area was 7.69 million square meters, an increase of 13.25% compared to the 6.791 million square meters in the same period of the previous year.
Specifically, 148 international exhibitions were held, with a total exhibition area of 6.679 million square meters. Additionally, 102 domestic exhibitions were held, with a total exhibition area of 1.011 million square meters.
