The 2016 intermediate training program for exhibition management has successfully concluded. For this training program, the association invited five senior executives from the exhibition industry and three university teachers to teach the participants. Let us look back at some wonderful moments from this period.

President Chen Xianjin of the association taught the first class, titled Development Changes in the International Exhibition Industry and Shanghai's Exhibition Industry. Participants said the course gave them a comprehensive understanding of the global and Asian exhibition industries.

After the class, participants still wanted more and continued to gather around President Chen for further advice.

Professor Wang Chunlei from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics taught Marketing Management.

Gu Xuebin, general manager of Info Salons China, taught Exhibition Information Management.

Participants made full use of breaks to ask questions. They said they learned a great deal about internet-related information that was useful for practical work.

Teacher Shi Yi from Shanghai Institute of Technology answered participants' questions on exhibition project management. Participants said the course was rich in content and that the sharing of project tools and cases was very practical.

Lawyer Gong Lier from Shanghai Da Bang Law Offices explained exhibition crisis management. Lawyer Gong has long served as legal counsel for Shanghai New International Expo Centre and has provided legal support and services in various crisis incidents there.

Listening to Lawyer Gong's stories was not merely about hearing stories. Participants were asked to identify the legal knowledge involved. They said the explanations of real cases helped them understand many practical response methods.

For the courses on site management and equipment management, Zhong Min, deputy general manager of Shanghai Art & Design Company, taught the class. The vivid cases in class deeply attracted the participants.

For the first time, the association adopted group-style desks for the training program, creating a relaxed teaching environment and facilitating interaction between participants and lecturers. The photo shows a participant in the front row actively joining the discussion. Such enthusiastic participation was common in this program and deserves praise.

In the human resources management course, Fu Min, human resources director of Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., gave a lecture. A large amount of content was condensed into four key words. For more highlights, participants were encouraged to register for next year's intermediate exhibition management training program.

The participant was asked to answer a question. Participants said the course content was very practical and useful.

Teacher Li Qiulin from Shanghai Institute of Technology taught English. Participants said they gained industry-specific English knowledge, including words, phrases and sentence patterns, and expanded their professional vocabulary.

Hardworking participants gathered around the teacher to listen to comments on assignments. Those whose English was already strong worked even harder. Keep improving. The association attaches great importance to vocational training in the industry and hopes that ambitious young people in the exhibition sector can gain from it.

Zhong Gang, president of Shanghai VNU Exhibitions Co., Ltd., taught a course with a long title: Feasibility Analysis, Project Establishment, Evaluation and Summary of Exhibition Projects. Participants said the high-profile lecturer impressed the whole class, and all four class hours were full of practical content.

A participant surnamed Zhu asked questions enthusiastically and was recognized for the best question of the session.
