November17The fifth China International Petroleum Trade Conference, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Shanghai Municipal Government, and the National Energy Administration, and hosted by the Ministry of Commerce's Foreign Trade Development Bureau, was held in Shanghai.15The conference was attended by Shang Yu Ying, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Zhui Lu Xun, Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce. Also present were Zhang Xin, the Ministry of Commerce's Special Envoy in Shanghai, Sun Cheng Hai, Director of the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, and Qian Jing Fen, Vice Chairman of the China Nonferrous Metal Chemical Import and Export Chamber of Commerce.300The conference also featured representatives from major multinational oil companies and related industry organizations from approximately 50 countries.
The conference, themed "Integration and Innovation – Building New Dynamics for International Oil and Gas Trade," focused on domestic and international macroeconomic analysis, introducing regional oil and gas market supply and demand adjustments, global crude oil price trends, new factors influencing international oil trade, and the resulting opportunities and challenges for the Chinese and global oil and gas markets.
Since 2008, the Ministry of Commerce has held four consecutive "China International Petroleum Trade Conferences" in Shanghai, providing a highly efficient international and professional business platform for oil companies.2012The conference was held in Shanghai.
