To meet the development needs of the exhibition industry and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of exhibition enterprises, the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association will hold the 2020 Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, training and certification examination. Applications are now being accepted.
I. Instructors and Course Introduction
The instructor team for this training includes officials from relevant municipal government fields, senior managers from enterprises with extensive practical experience, professors with rich teaching experience, and experts from related sectors.
Planned courses include the exhibition industry under the dual circulation new development pattern, the impact of COVID-19 on the global exhibition industry and trend analysis, new directions for economic development under the 14th Five-Year Plan, mergers, acquisitions and listings of exhibition enterprises, interpretation of international issues in the current environment, community operations for exhibitions, operation and management innovation for art venues, innovation in exhibition service scenarios and service models, and exhibition venue operation management.
II. Training Dates
The program is planned to begin in mid-to-late January 2021. Classes will be held from Saturday to Sunday each week, for a total of five training days.
III. Application Requirements
Participants in the training and examination must have worked in a senior management position at an exhibition enterprise or institution for at least 3 years, or in a middle management position for at least 5 years, and must also meet one of the following conditions:
1. Have obtained Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Intermediate, or hold another intermediate professional title, in either case for at least 3 years.
2. Have graduated from junior college with at least 10 years of work experience, graduated from university with at least 8 years of work experience, obtained a master's degree with at least 5 years of work experience, or obtained a doctoral degree with at least 3 years of work experience.
IV. Fee
RMB 6,000 per person, including training, teaching materials, examination, thesis defense and related costs.
V. Examination Format
1. After the training, participants will take a unified written examination.
2. Participants who pass the written examination will write a thesis and take part in a thesis defense.
VI. Certificate
Those who pass the examination will receive the Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, certificate jointly printed and stamped by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association.
VII. Application Process

2. Provide copies of both sides of your ID card and academic certificate, together with one one-inch and one two-inch ID photo of the same version, with your name written on the back.
