To meet the development needs of the exhibition industry and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of exhibition enterprises, the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association will hold the 2017 Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, training and certification examination. Applications are now being accepted.
I. Instructors and Course Introduction
The instructor team for this training includes officials from relevant municipal government departments, senior managers from enterprises with extensive practical experience, professors with rich MBA teaching experience, and experts from related sectors.
Training courses include analysis of the international exhibition industry situation, exhibition enterprise development strategies, development trends in China's exhibition industry, industrial capital operations, intellectual property protection in China's exhibition industry, new trends in exhibitions, the legal and regulatory system for China's exhibition industry, new models in the exhibition industry, government responsibilities in the exhibition market, corporate leadership, organizational design and human resources management.
II. Training Dates
The program is planned to begin from late August to early September 2017. Classes will be held from Saturday to Sunday each week, for a total of five training days.
III. Application Requirements
Applicants must meet all three of the following conditions:
1. Have obtained intermediate-level certification or hold an intermediate professional title in another field, both for at least three years.
2. Have graduated from junior college with at least 10 years of work experience, graduated from university with at least 8 years of work experience, obtained a master's degree with at least 5 years of work experience, or obtained a doctoral degree with at least 3 years of work experience.
3. Have served in a senior leadership position in an enterprise for at least 3 years or in a middle management position for at least 5 years.
IV. Fee
RMB 6,000 per person.
V. Examination Format
After the training, participants will take a unified completion examination. The examination consists of a written test, thesis writing and thesis defense.
VI. Certificate
Those who pass the examination will receive the Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, certificate printed and stamped by the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association.
VII. Application Process
1. Log in to the association's official website at www.sceia.org to download the Application Form. After completing it, send it to jessie_shaoying@sceia.com.cn. Download path: Association website > Services > Training and Education > Enrollment Notices > Download Attachment.
2. Provide copies of both sides of your ID card and academic certificate, together with one one-inch and one two-inch ID photo of the same version, with your name written on the back.
