Training

In response to the Outline of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Integrated Development Plan and Shanghai's strategic deployment for building an international exhibition capital, and in order to improve the professional competence and management level of exhibition practitioners in the Yangtze River Delta, enrollment is now open for the 2025 Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, Training Program.

This training program is supported by the Yangtze River Delta Exhibition Research Institute, takes Shanghai as its core hub, and serves exhibition city clusters in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. It aims to improve exhibition professionals' cross-regional resource integration capability, digital operations literacy and international management level, and to strengthen the resource allocation capability and overall competitiveness of the Yangtze River Delta exhibition industry. Details are as follows:

I. Application Requirements

Participants in the training and examination must have worked in a senior management position at an exhibition enterprise or institution for at least 3 years, or in a middle management position for at least 5 years, and must also meet one of the following conditions:

1. Have obtained Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Intermediate, or hold another intermediate professional title, in either case for at least 3 years.

2. Have graduated from junior college with at least 10 years of work experience, graduated from university with at least 8 years of work experience, obtained a master's degree with at least 5 years of work experience, or obtained a doctoral degree with at least 3 years of work experience.

II. Training Dates and Venue

The program is planned to begin in mid-November 2025 at the Gubei Campus of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, No. 620 Gubei Road, Changning District. Classes will be held from Friday to Saturday each week, for a total of five training days.

III. Fee

RMB 6,000 per person, including training, teaching materials, examination, thesis defense and related costs.

IV. Examination Format

1. After the training, participants will take a unified written examination.

2. Participants who pass the written examination will write a thesis and take part in a thesis defense.

V. Certificate

Those who pass the examination will receive the Shanghai Exhibition Management Professional Technical Level Certification, Advanced, certificate jointly printed and stamped by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industries Association.

VI. Application Process

1. Log in to the association's official website at www.sceia.org to download and complete the Application Form. Download path: Association website > Services > Training and Education > Enrollment Notices > Download Attachment. Send scanned copies of both sides of your ID card, academic certificate, an electronic ID photo with your name noted, and the completed Application Form by email to zhouhaotian601@163.com.

2. Applications are open from now until October 30, 2025.

3. Application materials will be reviewed by the association secretariat. Registration will be confirmed after the materials are verified.

4. After confirmation, please remit the training fee to the following account as soon as possible before the program begins.
