Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center is located at the birthplace of organic agriculture in China. It is an important carrier for the development of Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone, one of the first national-level agricultural high-tech zones in China and the only international-level agricultural high-tech zone in the Yangtze River Delta.
The first phase of the expo center is located in the core area of Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone. The project covers 68 mu, with a total construction area of nearly 50,000 square meters. It can provide 20,000 square meters of indoor exhibition area and 30,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition area. The conference center covers 3,500 square meters and can accommodate 3,000 participants, with 27 supporting small and medium-sized meeting rooms. It also provides four characteristic agricultural bases of 10,000 mu each for on-site display and experience.
The second phase of the expo center is under planning and design. It will add four single exhibition halls of 10,000 square meters each. Upon completion, the total indoor exhibition area will reach 60,000 square meters, providing ideal space for innovative agricultural exhibition activities and the transformation of agricultural achievements. It will also meet diverse event needs such as corporate annual meetings, large evening galas, sports events and customized wedding banquets.
Since it opened in December 2019, the center has successfully hosted three conferences: the 2019 Annual Meeting of the China Agricultural Exhibition Association and the Launch Meeting for Agricultural Exhibition Classification and Recognition, the 2019 Future Agriculture Top 100 Baima Summit, and the 2019 Moderately Prosperous Society Television Project Awards Gala. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, while fully ensuring epidemic prevention and control, the center has successfully hosted events including the Lishui District Bank-Enterprise Matchmaking Meeting for Epidemic Response, Stable Growth and Development Promotion; the Lishui High-Quality Manufacturing Development Pilot Zone Construction Promotion Conference; 2020 iFresh Asia Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo, Jiangsu Station; China Berry Industry Expo; China Cherry Expo; the Jiangsu Province Four Good Rural Roads Construction Achievements Tour Supporting Rural Revitalization; and the Chia Tai Cup 2020 College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. National-level conferences and events including the National New Farmers, New Business Forms Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference, the 2020 National Agricultural Business Interconnection and Targeted Poverty Alleviation Production-Marketing Matchmaking Conference, and the Healthy China Development Conference are also about to be held.

Attention to Detail and Five-Star Service
According to relevant leaders of the expo center, in order to provide more complete services for exhibitions, conferences and events, and in accordance with provincial and municipal work requirements as well as the Lishui District exhibition work promotion plan, the center has established a special working group and formulated 16 work plans covering epidemic prevention, fire safety, traffic, catering, accommodation, operations, services, publicity and emergency response. These plans are continuously optimized through drills, with greater attention paid to service details. The center has also carried out special training and scenario-based drills to ensure precise and smooth coordination across all links. From early preparation to event-period support, from system operation to safety protection, service operations are refined by time point, location, standard and responsible person, forming a strong foundation for venue service support.
Major Exhibition Projects Continue to Arrive
As the first venue put into use in Jiangsu Province after the COVID-19 outbreak, Baima Expo Center has continued to attract strong attention since successfully hosting its first thousand-person high-quality manufacturing development conference on March 24. Upcoming events include the National New Farmers, New Business Forms Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference, the 923 Global Agricultural Products Livestreaming E-commerce Festival, the 2020 National Agricultural Business Interconnection and Targeted Poverty Alleviation Production-Marketing Matchmaking Conference, and the Healthy China Development Conference, with 14 major conferences and events expected to be held and drawing broad industry attention.
Normalized Prevention and Control Safeguards National-Level Events
Please be assured that amid the changing global epidemic situation, whether for organizers or participants, safety always comes first. Every event adopts three-dimensional, comprehensive and secure prevention and control measures. A 5G fully automatic temperature detection system is used at all venue entrances. Admission uses real-name registration, with health code and travel code checks, and entry is allowed only after normal temperature screening, in order to prevent participation risks involving people from epidemic-affected areas. All on-site personnel wear masks throughout the event and maintain distance. The total number of people in the venue under audience flow conditions is strictly controlled. Public areas are preventively disinfected every two hours. Fresh-air and return-air inspections are strengthened. All food is traceable. No-rinse hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, masks and other epidemic prevention supplies are provided in conference rooms and exhibition halls. All support personnel undergo nucleic acid testing, and dining area flows are scientifically designed. These prevention and control measures are implemented in detail, leaving no blind spots or gaps, to ensure the safety of every event.
